Luis Cruz Azaceta was born in Havana, Cuba in 1942 and came to this country alone at the age of eighteen, fleeing the violence of the Castro Revolution. He became a student at the school of Visual Arts in New York and received a BA in 1969. His major 1986 one person show at the Museum of Contemporary Hispanic Art in New York was entitled "Tough Ride Around The City". His work is shown by many art galleries through out the United States. | |||||||||
